High Power 4.5kW Hot Plate. 9"D x 9"L Thermoplate™ for plug-in use up to 600°C-900°C. The HP220-GAXPC-600 is a 230/240 50/60Hz model.
The maximum temperature exceeds 1000°F (1000°F=537°C) up to 900°C=1652°F. It is a 240 plug in. May be used fro 220 - 240V. 4.5 kW at 240V. 50/60Hz capable
The Control Panel IBPAN-O-PLUS is optional. However highly recommended. The unit should be used with a process and cut off t/C. The t/c's are included with the unit. However the control panel is optional. The TC Read option is a temperature readout when a control panel is not used (it is not a temperature cut off). The use of a control panel is highly recommended for better life and for monitoring overheating.
The temperature quoted above is the maximum permissible temperature of plate. Two types of porous plates are avaiable (please choose one - there is no difference in price). One that is rated to 900C and the other to 600°C maximum temperature, The plates are porous. The 900°C plates can carry about 15Kg whereas the 600°C rated plate can carry loads up to 70Kg when uniformly distributed load on the 9"x9" area.
Two thermocouples are ialways ncluded with the PowerPlate for process and OTC monitoring. These are the control inputs for the IBPAN-O-PLUS.

Surface: Haavy duty support porous thermally stable shock resistant top. Suports about 60-70kg load depending on configuration and distribution.
Typical USe Temperature: Adjustable to 200°C-900°C. Please note temperature on part depends on many factors such as mass, load distribution, power demand and other factors
