PLUS models have process and overtemperature controls. The over-temperture control t/c (supplied) may be used for placing on the plate.
The control panel houses switch gears, fuses, and circuit breaker.

Surface: Ultra light-weight, thermally shock resistant ceramic top.
Temperature: Adjustable to 1000°C. Please note temperature on part depends on many factors for a radiating surface. The heating element temperature can reach up to 1000°C in free radiating mode, however, in the GAXP Models, ceramic top cannot exceed 1000°C. All ceramic tops have thermal shock limitations which are not exact numbers and the materials behaves like a glass or glass ceramic. Top can shatter if cold liquid is brought in contact with the heated surface.

Typical Time to Reach Temperature: To 1000°C in approximately 10 min. from room temperature. Rapid heat-up after full power output is reached (appox. 30 seconds). Ceramic top may have slower heating rate because it is not transparent.
