High-Density FRACTALINS are unique lightweight non-fiber high-temperature insulating boards and other shapes which display low density and high strength. HDFRACTALINS do not wet molten aluminum The board has excellent low thermal conductivity, high thermal shock resistance heat, and chemical and mechanical stability. HDFRACTALINS » made from the HMG1 material is available in various sizes and shapes for a variety of applications. Typical applications are aluminum furnace linings, hot plates, filters, and kiln furniture.

TYPICAL USAGE of HD FRACTALINS:
HDFRACTALINS are excellent materials to use as furnace lining in aluminum furnaces insulation boards in furnace lining and kiln furniture. They have a higher service life compared to any fiber insulating board, due to their mechanical, and chemical stability at high temperatures. Other applications include hot plates, gas combustion burners, fire protection and stops. Due to its high porosity, high strength, and high melting point HDFRACTALINS may find other uses. Typical applications are molten metal filtration, oil trapping and recovery, grease filters, hot-gas and steam cleaning filters, and chemical and water purification processes. They can also be used as substrate support for membrane reactors.
