Porous Alumina Board for general purpose applications.
HA Fractalins are high purity porous alumina boards.
Use for structural shapes or use as insulation, chemical reactivity, and membranes.
Typical Applications are:
Lightweight structure materials. Composite manufacture reinforcement additive for metal, ceramic, or polymer. Armor, bio-ceramic, abrasive brake pads, etc. Coatings for surfaces (metals, ceramics, polymers.) Thermal insulation Fire protection and stops High-temperature furnace linings Kiln furniture Gas combustion burners Repairing or relining refractory cracks and holes.
Electronic substrate carriers for bioreactors. Other applications are Filter Molten metal castings (aluminum, copper, iron) and Steam cleaning. Apply as lightweight coatings or oil trapping and recovery; grease filters; chemical and water purification processes Hot-gas filter substrates for the electrode. Desiccants substrates for catalytic converters.
Use as lightweight structural materials The HA FRACTALBALL has a unique microstructure, very low density, high strength, and high hardness. The HA material, of which the HAFRACTALBALLS are made, and the FRACTALGLUE material may be used up to temperatures over 1950°C. HA, FRACTALS ARE MOSTLY PURE ALUMINA.
