Dimensions are external (outside) dimensions. The sagger may be used for loading a variety of parts in a furnace. Made from RHDFactalin it is extremely thermal shock resistant and can withstand very high temperatures. Hundreds of novel uses. Use for heat treating powders, solids, etc. up to 1800°C. Although an excellent material to resist cracking in common furnace uses, cracking can occur under extreme thermal shock conditions or when fired on an uneven furnace floor. Minor cracks may be filled with the furnace repair kit (sold separately on this site).
Saggars are made of RHDFractalins™ (which are reinforced RHDFractains, where the R stands for reinforced). These saggers withstand high temperatures up to 1800°C. Saggers are useful as kiln furniture. See RHDFractalins™ by clicking on ‘here. (MSDS sheets may also be downloaded from this site).
