Description
Hearth Plates are unique lightweight non-fiber containing, high-temperature insulating boards and other shapes which display low density and high strength. The BR board has excellent low thermal conductivity, high thermal shock resistance heat, and chemical and mechanical stability. Hearth Plates are made from the HMG1 material and are available in various sizes and shapes for multiple applications. Typical applications are furnace linings, hot plates, filters, and kiln furniture.

TYPICAL USAGE of Hearth Plates:
Hearth Plates are an excellent material for insulation boards in furnace lining and kiln furniture. It has a higher service life than any fiber insulating board due to its mechanical and chemical stability at high temperatures. Other applications include hot plates, gas combustion burners, fire protection, and stops. Due to its high porosity, high strength, and high melting point, Hearth Plates may find other uses. Typical applications are molten metal filtration, oil trapping and recovery, grease filters, hot gas, steam cleaning filters, and chemical and water purification. They can also be used as substrate support for membrane reactors.
