MVTA-2(10)-220-H2-or-Hot gas input

Description

MVTA for hydrogen or combustible gas heating or when hot input is required for low KW air heaters.   This product is used for H2 gas heating.  All tubes and end caps included.  1/4″ tapped hole NPT included for inlet and outlet.     The maximum temperature of the gas will be ~1000C.  When used for air or gas flow heating purposes, please contact MHI for the specific gas involved or for the flow temperatures that are possible for a particular gas. 220/230/240V plug-in*.  Power: maximum is  5 kW.  Diameter ID=2″.  Outside diameter approximately is 4-5″ OD  for the device and 10″ in Length. 

The unit offers high residence features that are required for gas heating.

Two thermocouples included.  Sealed.   The picture is shown with the MVTA unit resting on a work table.  The table is not provided.

The process tube will protrude at least 1″ beyond the metallic enclosure face.  The internal temperature in the tube will depend on the load/flow.  The standard tube that is provided is a high-temperature capable metallic or aluminum oxide (alumina) tube.  Please specify with an order.  For alumina tubes, the ends will be stainless steel.

Tapped inlet and outlet holes as shown in the picture are provided.

THE CEC are ceramic plugs that are optional.  Holes along the center line are provided in the CEC.

When a control panel is ordered please choose the BPAN-O-PLUS option. All connectors included.  Two T/C’s are provided as are all connectors.

* Plug-in Voltage indicates closest BPAN preference. The unit temperature, current or power cannot be exceeded in any configuration of use.
