The LTA750-02 Airtorch® is a compact cartridge-style hot air and gas generator designed to provide continuous high-temperature heating for industrial and laboratory processes. Operating at approximately atmospheric pressure, this unit delivers outlet temperatures up to 900°C while maintaining precise thermal performance for air and compatible non-reactive gases.
The LTA series features an integrated Type K thermocouple, compact design, and flexible voltage options, making it suitable for a wide range of process heating applications.
Important Safety Notice:
The stainless-steel body of the LTA750-02 will become extremely hot during operation above 700°C. Users are responsible for wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including thermal gloves, eye protection, and other required safety equipment.

For systems operating above 750°C, accurate airflow control becomes increasingly important. For applications above 850°C, MHI strongly recommends the use of:

Control Recommendations
BPAN-O-PLUS Controller
For applications operating above 750°C, MHI highly recommends the use of a BPAN-O-PLUS controller.
Benefits include:

- Enhanced protection against overheating
For operation above 850°C, the use of both a BPAN-O-PLUS controller and a highly accurate flow meter is strongly recommended.
One control panel is required per heater unit.
Installation Requirements

- Steady airflow must be maintained during operation
- Airflow and power input should be properly matched to achieve desired temperatures
- Suitable mounting and thermal protection measures should be provided by the user
Safety Information
Hot Surface Warning
The stainless-steel body of the LTA750-02 can reach elevated surface temperatures during operation.
When operating above 700°C:
- The heater body may become hot to the touch
- Thermal gloves should be worn
- Appropriate eye protection should be used
- Additional PPE and guarding should be considered based on the application

Such hot air guns are used in plastic welding, heat shrinking of thermoplastics, ceramic drying, on-site heat treatment, plastic forming, and many other applications.
The unique steel shell construction provides efficient heat recovery and management, providing high-efficiency hi-temperature discharge.
This recuperating design eliminates radiant heat loss while enhancing efficiency and maintains a cooler outer shell temperature.
Note: Parts of the surface are hotter than 50°C (DO NOT TOUCH), providing greater operational safety.
