Description
The HGA-G-01 (110/120V single phase) is a low kW unique high-temperature gas/steam device for inline heating. This unit’s maximum power is 1 kW. Integrated TC. Optional power and temperature control. Stand (three legs is optional). The Control Panel is Optional but highly recommended for higher temperature exits or when flow rate or power settings have to be changed.
Material of body: Stainless steel 316 or equivalent. No formal pressure ratings. Unit is welded sealed.

The airflow control option (flow meter) is required (optional purchase). For the airflow, a lab compressor is typically adequate.
The BPAN-O-PLUS option is required only if power adjustment is contemplated. When a BPAN-O-Plus power controller is not used, please ensure minimum air (in the range of 0.4 to 1 SCFM air or gas equivalent) and water flow to prevent burnout.

Current: Approx. ~9 Amps @ 110VAC for 1 kW (single phase)
Power Consumption: ~1000 Watts
The temperature controller is Eurotherm make. SCR’s are Eurotherm make for UL panels. The UL panel has a port for TCP/IP.

The size envelope is ~18″ x 2″ in Diameter without legs.
Safety precautions must be taken when dealing with hot gasses.
Safety: PLEASE DO NOT USE UNIT ON COMBUSTIBLE FLUIDS. PLEASE WEAR GLOVES, GLASSES AND A HARD HAT. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING IS REQUIRED. STEAM CAN PENETRATE CLOTHES. Patents applied and pending.
Installation: The user is responsible for installing and using the product according to the detailed manual enclosed with the unit. The airflow generator is also within the user’s scope. A qualified electrician should be used for installation.
Options: The control thermocouple for the hot air generator part is included. Brackets are sold separately, or users may provide their own. An electrical 110-120V 50/60Hz supply is required for this unit. 1 KW system requires compressed air input. Compressed air is user scope.

A maximum airflow of 2 SCFM is permitted. The temperature will be determined by the flow rate and power. The temperature is controlled by water flow, airflow, and power controller (if purchased). The user must provide an airflow device from a compressor or gas bottle and regulate the flow with a flowmeter.

Please note that ~900C is a typical maximum use temperature. Beyond that, flow and power instabilities can impact performance. We advise a BPAN-O-PLUS controller for use above 850C.

- Installation of the HGA-G-01
- 110V or 120V single phase 50/60 Hz
- Providing airflow generation equipment.
- Supply of compressed air or process gas
- Operating the system according to the supplied manual (only supplied with purchase).
